This is one of the most popular and useful kits for preliminary investigations. The assembly consists of 15

different earth soil sampling tools in a handy wooden case small enough to be carried in an auto. The set

contains a variety of tubes, earth augers, and samplers capable of recovering samples from most

materials, except rock. It is designed for hand operation.

 

Recommended:  14.0 lb. (6.3 kg.) sledge hammer for driving split tube sampler or probe.
