PVC FLUSH JOINT RISER PIPE, SCREEN & FITTINGS AVAILABLE SIZES: 1/2" - 24" PVC MATERIALS: All of our PVC Schedule 40 and 80 pipe products are manufactured from virgin resin Type 1, Grade 1, PVC compound with a cell classification of 12454-B per ASTM D1784 standards for potable
water. All materials are NSF approved,
ands in strict compliance with ASTM D1785.
LENGTH OF RISER PIPE & SCREEN: All Riser Pipe and Screen are measured and manufactured so when screwed together, the exact lengths are 2, 2 ½, 5, 10, and 20 feet.
ASTM THREADS: The standard threads we manufacture conform to the ASTM F480-88, 2 thread per inch classification with an O-ring installed on each piece which is the industry standard. With the ASTM F480-88 2 thread, our products will be compatible with other manufacturers using the same standards. . INSPECTION, CLEANING & DECONTAMINATION: Each Riser Pipe, Screen, and Fittings are individually inspected for (1) thread compatibility, (2) flaws in the pipe, (3) slot size uniformity in the Screens. After inspection, each piece is individually cleaned both inside and out with a Alconox solution, and hand dried. Each piece is then wiped down both inside and out with Isopropyl Alcohol for decontamination.
PACKAGING: After the decontamination process, each piece is hermetically sealed in a heavy duty polyethylene bag, and immediately placed in a heavy cardboard box for shipping.
SCREENS: Our PVC Screens are manufactured on computerized Slotters so you get the exact cut on each piece. Our standard production slot sizes are .010 (10 slot), .016 (16 slot), and .020 (20 slot). Other slot sizes are available upon request. We manufacture a 1/4" spacing between slots, and for a higher flow, we also manufacture a 1/8" spacing between slots.
FITTINGS: We manufacture two types of Fittings. (1) Threaded Hollow, and (2) Threaded Solid. All Hollow Fittings are made of a one (1) piece construction to insure strength an thread integrity. For added strength to the well construction, we manufacture the Solid Fittings. These fittings are made from a solid stock of PVC material. Each fitting is individually inspected, decontamined and placed in a heavy polyethylene bag for shipping.
