Specifications:
1. Construction - The well screen shall be of the continuous slot,
all welded design. The wrap wire shall be keystone shaped with the wide side
facing outward. The wrap wire shall be resistance welded to the ribs while
under water.
2. Material - The well screen jacket and fittings shall be
fabricated from Stainless Steel type 304, or higher grade. (Alternate alloys
available).
3. Fittings - End fittings shall have ASTM-F480-88
2-thread flush joint
threads for maximum strength.
4. Slot Size - The slot size to be determined by a sieve analysis
of the formation sand or filter pack material.
5. Riser
Pipe - The casing/riser shall be fabricated of ASTM A312
Sch-5, 10 or higher schedule, Type 304 or higher Stainless Steel welded pipe. The mid-body shall be one continuous
piece with no mid welds. The end fittings shall be attached to the mid-body at
the factory.
6. Cleaning - The screen and casing shall be cleaned at the
factory as follows.
A. Immerse for five minutes in static bath of Alconox.
B. Pressure rinse/wash with cool water.
C. Rinse with water.
D. Allow to dry.
