Monitor WellŪ plugs are designed to seal ground water monitor wells placed around underground storage tanks, as well as around above ground tanks, landfills, and treatment plants. Monitor Well Plugs meet all EPA requirements for locking plugs used to seal off ground water monitoring wells. Sized to seal Schedule 40 piping. The 2" and 4" also can seal schedule 5 plastic & stainless steel pipe.
Made
wiith chemical / petroleum resistant EstalocTM plastic top/bottom
plates and Nitrile
sealing "O" ring. Comes with stainless
steel carriage bolt
and yellow chromate coated locking latch.
Using the latch as you would a
wing nut, the sealing "O" ring is easily expanded. Once tight in the welll
the
latch is lowered over the ribs of the top plate. The latch is designed to use
Dolphin solid
brass padlock or a No. 2 MasterŪ Padlock.
